Job Title: Finance & Admin Intern
Job Type: Paid Internship (Temporary Contractor), up to 6 months with the possibility to renew the contract additionally in the future.

To this end, we are looking for a highly motivated and motivated Finance and Operations Administrator to join the CCX back-office team.

Our mission is to develop scalable solutions that are based on deep insights into the lives, needs, and constraints of un/underserved people in emerging markets to improve their livelihoods and create opportunities for economic growth. To accomplish this mission, we focus on Entrepreneurship and SME Development, Inclusive Finance (including gender-intelligent finance), and Policy Dialogue and Regulation. Based in Switzerland, we are a young and growing company with international partners and staff working in fast-paced and often changing environments. We have delivered over 60 projects reaching more than 8 million previously unbanked clients in both the largest emerging markets and the poorest landlocked countries.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
•⁠ ⁠Finance and Accounting Support: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities, support preparation of consolidated accounts, perform data quality checks.
•⁠ ⁠Data Management: Maintain accurate records and databases, including contact lists, client information, and other relevant data. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
•⁠ ⁠Document Preparation and Management: Support the preparation and formatting of various documents, including reports, presentations, and proposals. Ensure that documents are accurately compiled, proofread, and organized to meet quality standards and deadlines.
•⁠ ⁠Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

WHO YOU ARE
•⁠ ⁠Currently enrolled in a degree program or within one year of graduation date: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
•⁠ ⁠Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an excellent command of English
•⁠ ⁠Eyes on the details and keeping things organized come naturally to you, and you take pride in maintaining a professional and tidy workspace.
•⁠ ⁠Team player with a positive attitude and work ethic, able to work independently and in a team setting.
•⁠ ⁠Highly computer literate, able to pick up new software tools with ease, and skilled in the use of MS Office (especially Excel)
•⁠ ⁠Sensitive to the concerns of the developing world, and able to work with providers from different cultural backgrounds
•⁠ ⁠Experience living, studying, and/or working abroad is highly advantageous.
